Jefferson County is home to the world-famous weather prognosticator, Punxsutawney Phil. Visitors to Punxsutawney can see Phil's Burrow, the Groundhog Club headquarters, and the Weather Discovery Center. In Brookville, explore Scripture Rocks Heritage Park, the Jefferson County History Center (home of the 1904 Twyford, America's first four-wheel-drive vehicle) stroll down a Victorian main street, and hike/bike the Redbank Valley Trail.
Brockway is home to the Clarion/Little Toby Trail and an old fashioned 4th of July celebration. The blueberry pie eating contest during the Reynoldsville Red White and Blueberry Festival in July is always fun. Clear Creek State Park is a one-of-kind destination nestled in a deep valley. Nearby, Beartown Rocks offers stunning views of Clarion River from giant boulders and the Western Pennsylvania Laurel Fields blooming in June are an amazing sight. You can even take a free factory tour at BWP Bats or sip a little Moonshine at Blackbird Distillery.
